Teak wood

Teak wood, known scientifically as Tectona grandis, is a highly valued hardwood originating from Southeast Asia, particularly India, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. It is renowned for its durability, natural resistance to decay, and rich, golden-brown color that deepens with age. Teak wood contains natural oils and silica, which contribute to its weather-resistant properties, making it a popular choice for outdoor furniture, boat building, and high-quality indoor furnishings.

Steam Beach wood

Steam beach wood refers to a process where beech wood is treated with steam to improve its workability and dimensional stability. This treatment involves exposing the wood to steam at high temperatures, which helps to soften the fibers, making it easier to bend and shape. The process also reduces internal stresses and minimizes the risk of warping or cracking. Steam-treated beech wood is often used in furniture making, veneers, and various woodworking projects due to its enhanced durability and smooth finish. Additionally, the steaming process can bring out a richer, warmer color in the wood, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

Yellow Cedar

Yellow cedar, also known as Alaska yellow cedar (Cupressus nootkatensis or Callitropsis nootkatensis), is a species of cypress native to the North American west coast, particularly in Alaska, British Columbia, and the Pacific Northwest. Yellow cedar is fine-textured and straight-grained and its natural extractives make it a decay-resistant wood that is aromatic when cut. Due to its various natural characteristics, yellow cedar is widely used for shingles, poles, marine pilings, oars and paddles, decorative panelling, mouldings, and cabinet work. The structural grades of this species are also commonly used for exterior applications such as bridges, decking, stairs, and for landscaping.
Yellow cedar is valued for its durability, resistance to rot, and attractive appearance, making it a popular choice for various applications where strength and longevity are essential.

Wester Hemlock

Western hemlock features a fine texture and a straight, uniform grain. This species is seasoned uniformly in dry kilns to improve its strength and stiffness, and to enhance its resistance to decay and insect attack. It offers a wide array of applications, ranging from mouldings and interior woodworking to general construction, roof decking and plywood. This wood species is primarily known for its even grain, which offers excellent machining properties.

Douglas Fir

Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) is a species of evergreen conifer commonly found in western North America.
Douglas fir is one of the best known timber producing species in the world. In British Columbia (B.C.), Canada, there are two varieties of Douglas fir—coastal and interior. The coastal variety occurs along the southern mainland coast and across Vancouver Island. The interior variety is found throughout southern and central B.C. Douglas fir is a large tree reaching heights of 85 metres on the coast and 42 metres in the interior.
Douglas fir is seen as a first-class wood for the manufacturing of sash, doors and windows. The wood is also used for a wide variety of products including general millwork, furniture, cabinets, veneer, vats, ship and boat construction, transmission poles and marine pilings, and for structural purposes including laminated arches and roof trusses. Overall, Douglas fir wood is a versatile and reliable material, prized for its strength, workability, and aesthetic qualities.

Tubular core

Like a bridge construction, Tubular Core provides an ideal combination of light weight and stability. Compared to solid boards, the weight of Tubular Core is reduced by up to 60%. This impressive fact proves that high quality doors do not have to be heavy!

Tubular and solid cores have a very low thickness swelling, which is unusual for wood based materials. This makes them particularly suitable for doors with delicate surfaces.

The special positioning of the particles guarantees a very high impact resistance: Doors with Tubular Core withstand even the greatest impact – in spite of maximum diameter of the tubes.

The unique structure of the board is the main reason for the superior fire resistance of Fire Core – without using additional fire retarding additives. Even at relatively light weight the burn-off rate is very low. This leads to doors with excellent fire rating and stability.

Pine wood core

Pinewood Flush Door wooden frame is made from 100% pinewood core.

Pinewood is lighter and borer-free wood, thus making doors more reliable for residential purposes. These wooden frames are covered by plywood core & face veneer on both sides of the door.
